National Journal of Undergraduate Economics
For the past two decade, The Visible Hand has strived to inspire Cornell University undergraduate students to address current issues while promoting further exploration into how they fit within historical contexts, as a link between our past and the realities of our future.  Now, The Visible Hand aims to raise economic, political and social awareness beyond the boundary of the Cornell campus and extend its reach across the country by introducing the National Journal of Undergraduate Economics (NJUE) project.

Our aim is to establish a network with other schools to create a national undergraduate journal for economics produced by students, for students under The Visible Hand moniker. During the 2005 – 2006 academic year, the NJUE project team has worked with undergraduates who share our passion for economics at universities across the country, including Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, Duke, MIT, Tufts, and Stanford. From these efforts, we’re proud that from among the best articles in undergraduate economics, our Spring 2006 issue includes articles from students at Berkeley and MIT.

We’re excited to be expanding our readership nationwide and would like to encourage you to get involved by contacting the NJUE Project Director Jerry Shih at This email address is being protected from spam bots, you need Javascript enabled to view it
